At the Gartner event, Blogtronix will be announcing the upcoming release of it's new BTX Enterprise ver. 2.1.  A specialized product based on the enterprise edition; "BTX Finance" was also recently released.  BTX Finance is the result of over 6 months of customization and development work, specifically for the finance and investment banking industry. 

A top 20 in the Fortune 100, investment bank, recently launched their first social community based on BTX Finance.  Now an analyst can engage and interact directly with his subscribers online, in real time.  New features, tools and options are included in both releases.  Specialized tools developed specifically for the investment banking and financial services industries include RFC 822 compliance, content workflow management and approval, video blogging (an analyst can now record his morning calls directly on and post from his computer, instead of having to go to a studio, tape and then edit the call before posting), an online spreadsheet wiki integration (EditGrid), analytics and ticker based alerts.

Other planned social communities for the investment bank include those for human resources, marketing, prime brokerage, private wealth management and research.
